Postby rockdoc » Wed Aug 17, 2005 6:37 pm

Whats the feelings amongst you as to the date of the next run :?: , the 4th or the 11th Sept, there Seems to be a good level of interest but which date will attract more 5,s :?:
Proposed run would include the Slug road,Feuchside/ upper Deeside road, around Ballater , in Lower Deeside road, Lunch stop , over Fettercairn road and back up to Stoney.

Andy,

11th September is best for me as the Callendar Classic is the week before and me getting away for two consecutive weekends will well and truly use all my years brownie points up

Hi, will get back to you on that one as not sure of my shifts at work at the moment but would be a good intro to the club for me. Oh, do I have to join the club to take part in the run?? I have only joined the forum so far.

there is no herding of my cat thank you very much :!:

He may be 18 but he still packs a punch. Actually, while sitting watching the Bill just now - yes, me and the cat - my dog walked past and the cat took his claws off the side of his head. The dog wasn't happy but I laughed

Rockdoc,

had a wee run out today and stopped at the Feughside Inn for a beer. The landlady said that if we plan to go there next Sunday for lunch then it would be best to book if there is more than 4!!

Seeing as this is your idea, just thought that you should know what she said.

See you on Sunday then!

It was lovely today with the sun and we sat outside enjoying it. I thought it was rather quiet considering the weather so I asked her why. She said that just over the water the "travellers" have camped up so it is putting many people off from having their usual picnics by the waterside. This obviously impacts on her too since they dont come in for drinks etc.

Anyway, just for your info, I will be on my own on Sunday if you are looking for numbers. My usual co-pilot is away to Devon, so just me unless I can get another bod to come. Will let you know in plenty of time though.
