Good wee run

Postby Stonehaven » Sun Mar 08, 2009 3:00 pm

Thanks for organising this Ian.
Even though Jamie and I didn't stay with you for long, the trip back over the Cairn was good fun - despite the ice and salt. It reminded me why I have the 5 sitting in the garage - off to give it a quick wash now and tuck it up for the next few weeks.

Thanks to all for your company today and thanks again to Ian for organising the run. It was good fun despite the snow shower as we headed north passed Tillypronie! That will teach Lorraine for taking off her hard top!

It was a fine day indeed and it's good to know that snow does not come in when you go fast enough

Looking forward to the rest of the "season" 8)

Come on.. I had fresh snow showing on the Cairn this morning and then about 3-4 snow showers during the day none of which have laid. You lot need to stay up in the real hills for some "fresh" activity!

Sorry to miss your trippy ..the Roadster did move for the first time in 4 months  .. car wash outside before going into the paint spray booth  Oh well.. come the end of this month? Meantime the insurance is still on the snowmobile until the snow really goes

And one of the best British drive in the Roadster was middle of a blizzard.. top down with headlights on .. and then the sun came through.. all twinkly and pwetty.

Now you tell me... glad it wasn't snowing when I came back that way with the roof down with a five year old snoozing next to me...
