I think Arbroath would get my vote!

I'm just back off holiday today and something unexpected has cropped up which means I won't be able to make this! Have a good one.

Jim
A 5 in a garage is safe, but that is not what 5s are built for ...........is it?

What a miserable turn out from the South section.
I was embarrassed that we could only manage 3 on the day.

Andy turned up with his Vauxhall Astra.

It was great to meet our cousins even if not all of them were sure what an MX5 was.... actually a very nice car the VX220. Once we had overcome our navigational challenge we spent an enjoyable hour or so in the company of Malcolm, Andy and Colin.

Even if the turnout was not huge it establishes that we could do this in a bigger and better way between the two areas, planning time for 2009 coming up, get your thinking caps on. Summer barbecue with an overnight camp somewhere in the area???

Ian
Thanks for organising another 'Grand Day Out'. Good company, good food!! and the sun shone for us after all. A super wee run to meet a few of our southern friends and despite a modest turn out we all met some new faces.

(food was good - but while everyone else took dainty options, Wendy and I tucked into macaroni and chips! )

I was sorry to miss yesterday. As you say, the sun shone, even for my low-level walk at Edzell, and the autumn colours were spectacular!
