Knockhill Track Evening

Postby PaulDS » Wed May 18, 2005 9:28 pm

Is there no one else up here in the North but me going down to knockhill?
I'm going on the track to have some fun and meet up with club members, not to race or flog the guts out of my car, it's too precious! So don't hold back, you will very likely enjoy this experience. This will be my first time too. Douglas is looking for 3 more to make up the numbers, SO COME ON, join us.

Friday was a great event well worth the 300+ mile round trip and the best ?40 odd I have every spent on my 5. Although the car has now done over 100K miles it performed brilliantly, I was so impressed with it's handling even in the wet. Now that I've gain confidence with the track, I am looking forward to the next track day. Everyone was so well behaved it really made it comfortable for us first timers, yes their was some very fast cars but the drivers were considerate and as a result I never felt overwhelmed. So DON'T WORRY, it is an experience all 5 drivers should try at least once.

Red Mk 1 K95 JSA, parked next to grey Elise prior to registering and in front of the aqua blue, when we novices were about to go out with pace car. I'm on the photos.

Yes it was my first track day and hopefully not my last. Knockhill is a great track, it had a bit of everything, would love to have a go on the bigger tracks too.
Did I see your car with MP62 supercharger? What engine mods have you done because it was quick? Are you over the 200BHP?
I would like to see what the BHP on mine is?
