Don't know what to make of your creaking rear :? and as for elevating you on a ramp to take a look  not sure whether I want to and certainly don't want to be around your rear when there is movement

Also want to take the opportunity of having the car elevated to take some pics of the developing rust areas :(

Mark, I've got an inspection and some photographs to do, I think Paul wants to change some oil, other than that I don't know.

Hopefully should make it along at least for part of the evening. So long since I've been on Howes Rd - still no access down from Northfield?
See you tonight.

Thanks to the 10 people/cars that turned up for our wee impromptu tech evening. We didn't do too much in the way of real technical stuff but everyone went home having got what they wanted from the evening which was good to hear. Apart from the corrosion issue on Ian's car I don't think we uncovered any other problems.
We looked at drain holes, sills and wheel arches, a nice new K&N filter (that was mine by the way  ), a noisy water pump, a squeaky clutch and discussed exhausts and other bits and bobs.
We will be having a pre-winter prep/tech event possibly in October or early November but date and location to be decided.
Thanks again guys for taking the time and effort to come along and a really BIG thank you to Mark for letting us borrow your garage. I owe you a pint

Sorry, I was planning to turn up and have a blether, show off the new alloys, and change the nuts over, but in the end I couldn't make it.

Catch up with you all sometime soon....

Cheers
