Australia Revisited

First run this year for me and an enjoyable day, weather great, met new faces and managed to escape my new paint job being chipped :P
Despite the bumpy roads Elaine managed to get a few photos.

Super pictures Elaine. Must get my photographer to pull her socks up  .

It was a grand day out indeed and a perfect way to end a perfect weekend. I was chuffed to see so many new faces too. Expertly lead by Ian once again and the driving by everyone was spot on - thanks. If we could have missed the odd farm vehicle and "very" Sunday drivers a quicker pace would have been had but what the heck, it was a nice day for a sedate drive anyway

Bring on the next run

Was a good day!
Cheers everyone for making us Newbies feel so welcome. :)

Will no doubt be along again soon.

I'm sure I'll get to see the photos one day, but the darn works firewall blocks that site. I wish my IT knowledge was better so I could get round these things :)

What a brilliant day.

Great to catch up with so many people I've not seen for a while and wonderful to make so many new friends.

Let's hope that the run impressed the new members enough to keep them coming back for more.

How good was that bacon buttie at lunch time and how strange that the Old Firestation has been there 3 years and I'd never noticed it before??

I must have been so busy looking out for 5's to wave at I just drove straight past.

Thanks Lorraine & Ian for organising it, Kim and I had an excellent time and Kim took her usual multitude of photos. How she can take them backwards over her head I'll never know.

These are my favourites of the pics she took.

The pics are superb Ricky. Kim did do a good job of the backwards shots. Like you I had no idea where the Fire Station was and had been in the car park many a time before.
Well that was our second trip out and the weather has been great so lets hops this is to continue for the rest of the runs.

He's selling that car too

Looks like you all had a great day. Very jealous I couldn't come.
Turned out my car had nothing more wrong with it than a sticky brake.

There will be plenty more runs though. :D

Great photo work by the ladies as always 8)
