Slopes of Schiehallion Run - Sun, 8th June

Postby Colin » Sat May 24, 2008 6:13 pm

Now taking names for the North Scotland (South) Run on Sunday, 8th June. I've seen the route which Malc has put together and I can confirm it takes us through some of Perthshire's most beautiful scenery and roads. I will send participants an information sheet a few days before the run, but one or two bits of info for you:

  • The run starts from the Horse Shoe Cafe, Inchture (on A90 midway between Perth and Dundee), at 11am, but hopefully you'll come along early for a coffee.
  • There'll also be a convoy leaving for the Cafe from the Toyota Garage in Dundee a little earlier than that.
  • We lunch at the Kenmore Hotel (who do a vegetarian option), then finish at the Swallow Hotel in Dundee in time to get home for the Euro 2008 games!
  • The sun will definitely shine
If you'd like to come along (and a good turnout always makes it more enjoyable), just

  • e-mail me at the address below or
  • add your name to this thread
Names as soon as possible would be appreciated, but definitely by Mon, 2nd June.

See you there!
Cheers

Don't suppose it would be possible to post the route up here for those of us who weren't able to make it but may be needing a test route for their shiny new MX at some point in the future?

Thanks Colin, I've sent you a mail. Afraid I won't be able to make it to anything at the end of August as I'm going to a friend's wedding in Norway, but I'm sure there will be other events over the summer that I will be able to make it to. :)
