Just back from holiday, so back to arranging this run! We've now been given 20 places in the restaurant, so I think our numbers are:

Definites
1 Me
2 Alex Barnes
2 Douglas Hunter
2 Lorraine Grant
2 Bill Bennett (no lunch)
2 John Masterton
1 Ken Inglis
1 Malc MacBain
1 Paul Hotchkiss (am only)
1 Findlay
2 Colin McLean
2 Ricky Stokes
2 Rob and Margaret
Makes 21 attending (13 cars) and 18 for lunch

Probables
(Please confirm ASAP)
2 Andy Jarret ...
... makes all 20 lunch places sorted!

Possibles
1 Andy (Rockdoc)?
1 Baron von Ripper?

If the above list is not accurate or there are any late changes, I'd appreciate knowing at the e-mail address below.

I'll e-mail directions/instructions on Wednesday to those I have address for, and onto the events page round about the same time.

Now off to do a sun dance!
Cheers

Update: after the 5th August deadline for signing up for this run, I've managed to blag an extra couple of restaurant seats, so I think our numbers now are:

1 Colin Stuart
2 Alex Barnes
2 Douglas Hunter
2 Lorraine Grant
2 John Masterton
1 Ken Inglis
1 Malc MacBain
1 Paul Hotchkiss (am only)
1 Findlay
2 Colin McLean
2 Colin Meechan
2 Ricky Stokes
2 Rob MacKay
2 Tom Ferguson

2 Andy Jarret (no lunch)

Makes 25 attending (15 cars) and 22 for lunch

Please note:

a) As I'm trying to match seats for late signers up with late cancellations, please e-mail me at the address below with requests to be put on the reserve list, late cancellations, etc.

b) If your name doesn't appear above (eg John, Tom), see a)! At the moment all seats are reserved, but I'll do my best to accommodate you.

c) Directions for getting to the start can be found at theevents page. Route directions will appear there shortly.

Please do not add any more posts to this thread, but e-mails or PM's are welcome!
Cheers

Doc, clearly you need your eyes tested...that's Miryana in the WW garb. I opted for Captain America!

Finlay, the mission was to clear Forfar Tesco's booze aisle

now, here's a thought....what about a fancy dress run sometime?!? Superman cape would look great billowing out of a 5

Genius!

Shame there couldn't be any drink involved to help matters but could be done as a charitable, sponsored event for a good cause? The Scooby drivers do a Christmas run where they deliver presents to less fortunate kids, not that thats what we should do (unless its decided thats best) but can you imagine the look on a kids face getting a christmas present from Captain America who'd turned up in an MX5? (or any grown man who got a gift from Miryana turning up in an MX5 and getting out as WW?!?! ;) 8) - better avoid the cardiac ward of the hospital!)

Yes - Dundee Bikers Forum do a Christmas Toy Run every year, to deliver toys to a couple of childrens wards - one at Kings Cross and the other at Ninewells Hospital.
They also do an Easter Egg Run for the kids at the "mothers and children" shelter at the Salvation Army Hostel.

Both events get good coverage in the local press.
