scores on the doors time

We have on the stand:-
Graham with his very very shiny car
Jim
Stevie
Chris
Robin
Me

We will be there from around 0845 but the gates open to the public from 1100. Robin tells me the weather will be fine so on his head be it if it piddles down
It's the 25th anniversary so it should be a damn fine day out with plenty on offer for all the family. Obviously the MX5 club stand will be the best bit 8).
Hope to see you all there

Right guys, get your brollies and wellies out. Robin - take cover - I'm after you  I have been told that my spare bed is like sleeping in 'business class' so I have no idea if that is good or bad. If the sun is out I hope its good, if the rain is here........

Not much fun as car out in the rain and no sign of it getting dry either.[/img]

Like Rugger I'm also gonna try very hard to visit and say hello. Other half is getting a bit jumpy about the weekends I've been working recently and wants to go see Harry Potter this weekend. If I'm not working Saturday then we can go to Inverness to see the film and leave Sunday free :D

I'll eat some cream cakes and jam before I get there and then go around putting my sticky fingers on all the shiny metal

Looking at it positively, we can always give the public a demo of how to get hoods up & down in record time!

I like your thinking
Not content with what I did yesterday, I washed and glossed the car again today, did the soft top, waxed the alloys, cleaned the door sills and wheel arches, cleaned the glass, hoovered and dusted and popped the cover back on. It will stay like that until Sunday morning. I'll have to take a wee 'day bag' with cloths and squirty stuff to finish off when we get there.
If only I could be so keen with the hoovering and dusting in the house :?

Thanks Findlay. I did try to persuade dad to let me keep the car in HIS garage but he was having none of it so I had to drive home in the rain  I washed and glossed it again today and managed to get it looking better I think. Did the soft top, glass, arches, doors sills and hoovered and dusted. Now its under a cover until Sunday  Oh, that'll be the cover that scratches the paint of course

I have made my normal web album of pic's. I was too lazy last night to sort them out and just told Picassa to stick them straight to a web album. Then I noticed a few were video clips and one was 109mb  I trimmed it a little to fit but it's still 60 something. I only trimmed off Lorraine, Robin and myself chatting about the cars so you haven't missed much  The pics are far from my best as I was in a lazy mood and couldn't be bothered with any arty farty ones. The few video clips are very big file sizes though. If you have the time then the sounds of the cars have come out better than expected, first time I've used that camera to film anything. Shame I didn't film the V12 Jag.....

Stevie G's car was a real star of the day for me. A LOT of love and care and hard work in that car. 8)

Really glad I made it along to the show, well worth it and will be going again for sure.
