Alford Motorvation 22nd July

Postby The Pram » Tue May 01, 2007 1:38 pm

Right folks, I now have the invitation for the event and have to reply not only with full details of the cars on the stand but with how many advanced tickets I want too (plus payment).

Tickets cost £5 per adult, £2.50 for kids but full price of £7 on the day.

As its first come first served I would like to send back the form by Monday next week so can everyone who requires tickets please let me know before that.

Cars on the stand get free entry however for driver and passanger.
At the moment the offers have been from

The Pram mk2.5 blue
StevieG mk1 (can you confirm please) red
Old Git mk3 silver
Alan Davies mk1 import ? colour
PaulDS mk1 red
Mark Ramsden mk2.5 silver
IanH mk2.5 blue
Mike9jr mk1 BRG
Findlay mk1 red
Enjay
maybe mk3 CC from Arnold Clark??

I'm thinking that the first 4 are 100% yes as they are all different. I fancy the BRG too as its the only green one. Cant guarantee the CC though.
Does anyone have a nice example of a mk2?

Can the above people please email me with their details and whether you can still commit to coming as I need to decide which 6 are on the stand.

Update - I need the details of the car and owner for those going on the stand as this is printed in the event programme.

Cheers

You can count me in too Lorraine if no one else comes forward.
But that makes 2 red s/c and 1 turbo mk1, although mine is 1.6.
I think a stardard Mk 1 and Mk2 would be ideal though.
Come on lads we know who you are, where is chivalry

Why thank you kind Sir, most kind of you to offer. Gladly accepted.

If no-one minds that I get the next door neighbour to draw the raffle for the Polished Bliss thing then we might have enough cars, if the winner still wants to come along. I know Alan soooo wants to win and have his car there.

What say you then, do you trust me to do the raffle today? I'll post a pic of the neighbour doing it if it makes you feel any better.

Och heck, I'll just do that anyway and put everyone out of their misery!

Permissions Granted by Royal Consent & signed off by "The Boss-here-indoors" Lorraine  Anyone know of a good B&B? If not, no worries, plenty on the net.
PS Lorraine, the BRG is a Eunos import if that makes any difference?

Sorry mate. All done and dusted now. A certain "Docgy3" won the draw yesterday. He has a nice black mk1 so that will make a change from all red ones on the stand.

We now have

StevieG red mk1
Robin BRG mk1 import
Doc black mk1
me blue mk2.5
Old Git grey mk3

I have offers from Paul and Findlay but ideally another mk2/2.5 would be better. Can you think of anyone I've not pestered much yet?
