New Jaunt!!!

Postby Detritus » Thu Mar 22, 2007 8:22 pm

Just checked the weather for the weekend and Sunday's gonna be warm and sunny.

Soooooooo........

Sunday 25th March

Meet at Tesco Elgin for 11am departure. (Later this time so we get a lay in).

Destination: Fort William

Not going to put the route on here but rest assured the A96 does not feature prominantly.

Found a nice pub on the net at the foot of Ben Nevis, looks good for lunch.

Also appears to be quite a nice walk to a local waterfall if anyone is in the mood.

Note your interest asap please. I hate suspense.

And by the way blame POING, his idea to arrange another one.

YIPPEE, I'M GOING OUT TO PLAY AGAIN!! :D 8)

Of course you can make it Paul.

What could be more important than dropping the roof and cruising around Loch Ness with some good company? 8)

Ermm I say good company but if I'm all you get I'll have to rephrase that bit. :D

Not ending up single ??

Things are still to be talked about, Julie might be working over the weekend but it depends on a few things too boring to go into. Things have moved from 10% chance to around 45% chance of making it now.

Although it might be a bit busy on this one what with all the crowds of people climbing over each other to do this :?

There will always be room for you and Julie however busy it gets.

Wouldn't be the same without you. :P

Sorry to any one who wanted to go!!

I have pulled a muscle in my back so
THIS RUN HAS BEEN CANCELLED!!!

I can't face a 200 mile round trip, even in the 5.

Of course you could always go without me. :(

Will arrange something when I get back from Kent, assuming I can move by then.

Sorry to here about your back Rick but after a few words with Julie she doesn't want to go that far anyway so I wouldn't be able to come. We are planning on going out somewhere a bit more local and taking a picnic with us. No way are we staying in with the weather like it is though and especially when she's not working now :D We have talked about going as local as Pluscarden Abbey and as far as Aviemour. A slow drive I'm told, we will see about that little detail

I hope you can still get out to play somewhere not too painful for your back....
