New Jaunt!!!!

Postby Detritus » Tue Mar 06, 2007 12:16 am

By popular demand (Malcolm) I thought I'd try to organise another unofficial run. 8)

I have checked with the A/C (thanks for your help Lorraine) and it doesn't clash with anything official.

By the weekend I should have my new K&N Induction kit fitted and I want to try it out.

First idea was Loch Ness but the weather sites say rain, snow and misery but East coast is supposed to be nice on Saturday soooo.....

Saturday 12th March

Meet at Tesco, Elgin.

Leave at 10.30am.

Follow B9103 to Rothes.

Follow A941 to Craigellachie, and join the A95 to Keith.

Stay on the A95 to Banff and through Banff to Macduff, then along the coast and stop for lunch, place tba however Gardenstown looks good if they can accommodate all the hundreds of cars.

Will post map tomorrow.

Sounds like a nice wee run Ricky. Again I have to call off due to family stuff but I am sure you will have a few takers again.
As my old boss was fond of saying, go out there and "fly the flag"

I'm a 90% yes for this one as well so would be in Tesco car park again at the time stated.

A few things to finalise and the other half is threatening to drive it as she knows this route(we drive it about 20 times a year), we will see about that bit, time to get her an mx5 as well me thinks

Can't believe your going by a forecast looking that far ahead

Could do with you having your exhaust fitted by then so I can decide which one to get based on sound, either the mx5 parts one or a Larini.

Exhaust isn't in stock at the moment so not much chance I'm afraid. :(

If you leave at 06 00 - 06 30 you should make it on time.

Up to aviemore take the second aviemore sign/ cut off and turn left at the bottom of the road your about 45 mins to Elgin.

If you's are coming up I'll meet you on the road and take you in thus not wasting your time finding the place.
