Spittal of Glenshee run

Postby boringchap » Tue Oct 12, 2004 10:07 am

If anyone fancies travelling down in mini-convoy from Dundee to Perth on Sunday we could meet up either at the usual place (outside the Toyota garage on the M90) or somewhere more central like Tesco Kingsway or Tesco Riverside car park? And no, I won't be wearing my daft trousers.

Either of the Tesco's suits me. Could fill up there too and boost the old Tesco points on the card.

Hi!

Tesco Kingsway would be my choice - 'cos it's nearest and it's Pauline's second home!!

Can't think why you would want to put Tesco fuel in your 5, Chris, unless it's to give us a chance to keep up with you! :) :) :)

9.15 suit?

Unless, of course, you wanted coffee and bacon/egg muffins at McD by the Ice Rink, which is probably where we'll be at 8.00!! :D :D

I have two babies to sort whilst Dee's in Ninewells and breakfast time (7.30-9.00am) is mayhem in this house, luckily M-i-L will be here but don't want to take a loan of her on the first day

Earliest I can make is 9.15 wherever it may be but I do have to say breakfast sounds a great  ...even at McD's!

Tesco Kingsway car park it is then. I would suggest leaving Tesco at 09:45, this should allow us some time to have a chat with folk at Perth, compare fuel filler caps, etc., before the run starts. Could everyone who wants to meet up at Tesco post a reply here before Sunday so we know to wait for you.

Cheers,

Tom.

I will be there too for 9.30 unless, as previously stated, something intervenes. Either way I will know by Saturday afternoon and will post to confirm.

Hi all

Haven't posted to this group for a while so, although Val and I can't make it to tomorrow's run, we'll be thinking of you and doing a lack-of-rain dance.

Talking of which, we've just come back from a 3 day drive of the West Highlands and Skye. Apart from being the only people ever to visit Skye not to have suffered from rain, the roads to and on Skye are fantastic. 3 days with the roof down and sun in October - bliss!

Truly what MX5ing is all about.
Cheers
