Weekend trip to skye

Postby malcolm » Wed Jan 10, 2007 3:39 pm

The weekend trip to Donegal was working out way to expensive, So I've come up with another one. Weekend trip to skye.

You will be having evening meal and bed and breakfast in the Duntulm Castle Hotel.

Which is situated here. Image
and has some stunning views Image

Date of this weekend is Saturday the 26th of May 2007
And the price per person is £47.00.

If you would be interested in this trip can you get back to me with how many people in your car, so that I can book the rooms.

Day's runs Saturday and Sunday still to be finalized.

Hope this appeals to a lot of you, PLEASE NOTE :- First come First Served.

The hotel has only 27 bedrooms. Do you think we could fill it.

Just now, we need to wait and see how popular the weekend is, I have got 3 weeks to pay a deposit. I'll be in contact. I got a special rate as I drop in with the coach for lunch when I'm in Skye.

I thought Skye was a trip for later in the year??
Colin's folks from Dundee are up for one too but I think they had planned on a different time of year from us.
Anyway, horse on and maybe this can be a trip for everyone to go on regardless of which area they come from.

How are the Midgies?

May possibly be interested in this. £47 DB&B sounds quite reasonable too :) I'll speak to Sarah about it...

I might make it

The Skye trip in 1999 was a good one, I will see if I can find some pics. We even had it covered in the Evening Express...

Anyway I will check with other half this evening.

I'll check with Lynne when she gets home but I'm pretty sure I can get her on this trip. We will miss the easter one due to work, this might be a nice substitute.

EDIT Lynne says yes, so put our names down for this trip please. EDIT
