Ok Paul.

Will see what other folk say. I don't mind changing dates if that's what everyone wants.

Redgarth is a nice pub, made it into the UK good pub guide!

Happens to be a customer too but then I'm STILL not a member so I've got sod-all say anyway :D Its the day after Sarah's birthday so I think I'd manage the 28th, not the 27th though or the 21st...

Oh, and I'll not be turning up in a 5 either...
Long term MX5-less I miss my 5...

Will try and make it along - the Redgarth a good choice. Stuart Singer is "mine host" and very welcoming. Also serves up excellent real ales.

28th is more than a month away. I don't plan that far ahead. ;) I'll try and make it too and put some faces to names. :)

@the_frozen_penguin: that tidy white 5 in your sig and your location... You wouldn't tend to be on the back road under the railway bridge beside the sewage works at the bottom of the Kinkell Brae coming out of Inverurie about 8.05 most mornings would you? I'm usually heading the opposite direction in a red BMW 318i (from Kinmuck) and have noticed a nice white 5 with a chrome boot rack (which your pic seems to show) quite a few times.

Speaking of Kinmuck, I think Stuart Singer used to run the pub in Kinmuck (the Boars Head) a few years back (before I lived in the village).

Yes he did, turned it from Zero to Hero by putting Real Ale on tap around the time when there was not much to be had in NE Scotland (Apart from perhaps Ma's and the POW). Next few owners did not manage to capitalise on his success when he moved to the Garth, current incumbent seems to be doing well with it now.

Cheers,
