Sprint style day at Alford?

Closed gates so no members of the public. About £25 per car and driver which would be as many runs as you can manage and also include a pub lunch. We'd be tagging along with the Peugeot GTi Autosport Club (my alma mater kinda thing :D ) and they're a good bunch of folk.

PM or post here if you'd be interested... Guaging numbers but aiming for an event this year. 8)

what's a sprint style day? Is it like the Knockhill track night?

Again it depends on what shift I am on at work whether I can go or not.

Monday is good idea to let us know more.

Good positive response 8)

Yes Lorraine it would be a bit like Knockhill except that you'd only run one car at a time and the circuit is much smaller with less margin for error.

I have organised a few similar days there in the past and we've yet to bend anything. Its very relaxed, with friendly banter and a chance to sit down and compare notes over a bar lunch before heading back out for a few more runs in the afternoon. :)

Ah, I see said the blind man!

Like the idea of meeting up but not too sure about going round the track.

See you on Monday anyway to find out more. Will take my diary so I know if I am working or not.

I'd be up for it, been to the Alford sprint a few times, wouldn't mind seeing what the 5 could do.

I'd try and come up for that if the date suits me. The national OC organises a similar thing at Curbourgh every year.
