ABERDEEN PHOTO SHOOT

Postby loftladderman » Fri Aug 27, 2004 5:15 am

Keeps your eyes peeled in the local papers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a photo shoot today at Arnolds the Aberdeen Mazda dealers.
(Photos below are my OWN which I took in Duthie Park whilst waiting to meet the Photographer and Mark)

This was all sorted by Mark (OC Member) who is MD of a PR Company in Aberdeen. THE PR PARTNERSHIP (SCOTLAND) LTD
BON ACCORD HOUSE, RIVERSIDE DRIVE, ABERDEEN AB11 7SL

YES, it may be advertising BUT the amount of hard work Mark has put in on my behalf and for the Lands End to John O'Groats run (PLUS CASH) deserves to be recognised !
It proves that SOMEONE is helping for sure :-)

Lots of great photos taken and will appear in the press up here with a loose sort of message saying that there are 500 MX5 owners who bought from Arnolds and if they ALL gave a FIVER.....we could raise another ?2,500.

I also took a tenner from Paul the manager there :-)

I was made very welcome indeed by all, and the Greddy drew lots of attention as did DAX !
Very friendly folk and well worth a visit to the showrooms.
The mechanics were out in force and had to see under the bonnet....LOL
What does it do ? What does it make ? Does the Nitrous spin the rear end up and out ? General sort of questions from Mechanics I suppose...LOL
They found it hard to believe the car was 15 years old and only the 1.6 model.
They admited this said much, about how RIGHT Mazda got it all, all those many years ago !

The photographer was well on the ball and I hope to have some of the photos to show you all when I recieve them :-)

Mark supervised the whole thing and it was all very professional indeed.

He is also doing a write up for the local press here and I shall also put THAT in the forum when I receive my copy :-)

SO THANKS again to all who helped me and are helping to ensure this will be high profile in the North of Scotland !

Mark has also opened a new website which will be called fiver4afiver which will provide any news for those who wish to look on THIS site as it will provide a link.

From one very tired but very happy Mack :-)
