23rd July, the run that's a walk.

Malcolm will be organising the Run on Saturday 23 July to Edzell where we will park up in the car park and then go for a walk along the banks of the River North Esk to the Rocks of Solitude. The walk is pretty level and, unless there has been loads of rain immediately prior, it can easily be done in strong trainers. The walk is a maximum of 6 miles long and, as we will return on the same path, it can be shortened at any time.

After the walk (which will take between 2 and three hours), we will go to The Tweedie for tea/coffee/sandwich or whatever.

The route will start at Mains Of Drum, just east of Drumoak, at 0930 sharp and will head south via Park Bridge, Woodlands of Durris, Slug Road, Fetteresso, Drumlithie, Gelnbervie and Fettercairn before arriving in Edzell. We will return over the Cairn o’Mount.

Please sign up on the website as soon as you can so that I can advise the Tweedie of potential numbers.
