An alternative glossary of motoring terms.

Pinched the idea from a biker's site - but I'm sure it will work here.

The idea is - you come up with a wacky alternative definition of a motoring term.

Here are a few to get started.

Throttle - what you do to the noisy dog next door.

Tappet - hit it gently.

Speedo - Wesly's swimming trunks.

Can you think of any more?

Working the memory a bit here, but I read once a glossary of ladies motoring terms, lets see how many I can remember. (honest, no offences intended, just a bit of fun)

Clutch.....a small handbag.

Petrol.....Smelly stuff your boyfriend/ husband / dad puts in your car.

Dipstick.... Your teenage son.

Red X... Alco pop.

Tacho...... Mexican food

Lubricant, Rear ended, Serviced, Inflate........lets just not go there OK.

More follows when I remember them.
