Who is it?

Postby hubba64 » Mon May 07, 2007 4:12 pm

A game we can all play, guess who it is, I`ll start by entering a brief history of the person, alive or dead, and the person who guesses right does the next one.

Born in Linlithgow, West Lothian, the son of two civil servants, this MSP was educated at Linlithgow Academy and the University of St Andrews, where he graduated with an MA in Economics and History. He was first employed as an assistant economist in the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries for Scotland from 1978. In 1980, he joined the Royal Bank of Scotland, for which he worked until 1987, first as an assistant economist, then as the Oil Economist and latterly as Royal Bank Economist. In addition to the more orthodox political media appearances in such programmes as "Question Time" and "Any Questions", he has always been prepared to engage in the lighter side of politics, appearing regularly on "Have I got News for You", "Call My Bluff", and "Clive Anderson Talks Back". In 1998, he won the Spectator Award for Political strategist of the Year.

I'll be along in a wee while Kim. Just waiting on bidding for those scuff plates then got to shoot out back to TK Maxx as we bought a HUGE plant pot and plant which wouldn't fit in the Jag so have to take my brothers works van up to pick them up (I said just put the roof down and it will sit in the front seat but as it was p****** with rain we decided not to). If anyone else wants to add something in my place for now, feel free!
