However not seen my profile details on MX5 Scotland. Anyhow not sure if this is the rite way of posting but here is a photoshow of my MX5, 1.8i Icon 2001. Hope this works.

Beautiful motor, Rob. Always loved the Mark 2 Icon and nearly bought one.

How much did you splash out for the personal plate?
Cheers

Hi Colin and thanks for your commets. The reg. number goes back in my family 35 years plus. My father bought it for five pounds of a motor dealer in Broxburn. When my father past away it went onto my mothers now shes no longer with us I now have it. Its been on many of my cars over the years and now on the MX5. I do get offers for the number plate last one being 8k but as I dont really need the cash I would never sell it.

Now that was a good buy! :D

In my youth I owned several vehicles with numbers that I threw away, which would be worth big money today. I had a bike with the reg UKR 10 and a Mini with RAG 249 amongst others. Amazing how what was worthless suddenly becomes valuable (and vice versa)

Really nice looking car and cracking clour. I once stupidly missed the opportunity many many years ago to buy a cheap Volvo 340 for £500 - registration no BRA 1N --------- aaaaaaaagggggggghhhhhhhhhh - how much would that have been worth now?? I didn't buy the car because the guy wouldn't drop his price by £50 but we talking in the 1970's
A mistake is merely a missed opportunity to get it right.
