Hi from the Silvery Tay

Postby chiefy » Sat Apr 18, 2009 8:03 am

Hi all - from Dundee. Thought I was getting plenty old enough to get in and out of Sports Cars (53) but I went to look at one for someone else. Turned out that they decided to go for a cabriolet in the end - Peugeot 207CC but I just couldn't resist the MX5 - Stormy Blue 2 Ltr RC - pre reg with next to no miles and 6K off the price so I couldn't resist it. Absolutely love it and so does my partner. Looking forward to the Cairn'O Mount run tomorrow and meeting some of you. Over the years I have had more cars than I like to admit to - the last two being a MIni (good fun) and an RX8.

Hi Ali and Ian

Welcome to the wonderful world of the MX-5 community. A great choice in car, I'm sure you'll both have many years of fun with it.

Think we all know what you mean Ian. I went out 8 years ago to buy a BMW Z3 and came home with an MX-5 ... and have just ordered my second one.

Life's far too short not to have a wide grin on your face!
