Im trying to get a wee mx5 as a runabout while i rebuild the above weapon of a car over the winter and then when shes fixed ill use the 5 for my daily journey to and from work :)

I have a wee citroen ZX as a runabout just now which im either trying to sell or swap for a 5 which needs some work to bring it back to life so if anyone is interested drop me a line!!!!

For your enjoyment and to show you what I want to achieve with someones tired old 5 here are some pictures of my last uk mx5 rescue project, she started off life with badly faded paint, lots of rust and a knackered crankshaft and looked like this when i had finished:

Hehe Tom's Racing C3 Spirit Racing wheels

However when I sold the car I did keep them, but then one time I was skint so sold them on to a guy with a mk1 MR2, which is what I had them on originally.

Kinda gutted I got rid of them as they were gorgeous rims and took me ages to get them all polished up like that too :(

Both cars look great - always had a soft spot for your "big sis car"

Hope you get a 5 soon.... look forward to seeing the progress
