Thought I'd say hi

Postby 01mx5 » Thu Dec 18, 2008 9:36 pm

Hi

Actually, I lied, I'll say a bit more than that.

Thought I'd introduce myself to the local club - I'm fairly active over at the main club forum, but sometimes find myself over here.

I've had my MK2.5 Sport for about 3 months now, and hope to get along to a meet at some point.

I work weekends, so most of the runs so far haven't been an option, but I'll manage one at some point no doubt.

Out of interest - why did the Scotland region decide to have its own forum, entirely seperate from the main club?
I mean, with regards to technical advice and problems and such, surely there would be a much higher chance of a solution (quicker) at the main site?

Cheers,
Ramsay

Hello and Welcome,

Which area are you in?

Why a separate forum, well it's a lot friendlier here for a start

I'm in Central

Friendlier - hmm. More personal though, without a doubt, but the forum could have had its own little bit under the main forum, like a lot of other regions do, to keep a personal/meet discussion area.

The only reason I can think of is that this forum was created before the main one - but then I would have thought that we would have migrated over once the new one kicked off.
