Hi another new owner

Postby mossop54 » Sun Aug 10, 2008 2:30 pm

:D Hi there - bought my wee MX5 a couple of months ago and love it to bits.
It is a 1998 Monza and is such a great car to drive even although it doesn't have PAS. At first I found it quite a strain (having been spoiled with power steering for years) - but now no problem. Would like to come along to the next meeting in EK but feel a bit nervous as I would be on my own but think I will anyway so look forward to meeting you all.

hello and welcome to the friendly club. There is no need to be worried, you will be most welcome, not many of the menbers growl uncontrolably, most of us are actually quite nice.

Seriously, they are a good bunch, full of good humour, expertiese , helpfull and generous. There is more but I cant read the area coordinators hand writing.

Lets have a picture of your car as soon as you can.

Hi Moira. Great to have another female on board. You'll have no problem with your first pub meet as the locals are really friendly. I was down from Aberdeen for my first one last week and was made to feel like Royalty  Hope to see you at the Gathering next month. You'll no doubt hear all about it in the pub.

Hi there thanks for all of the welcoming replies re being a new member - looking forward to meeting you all in EK on Thursday night. I actually bought mine from there so maybe a couple of members might recognise it although it originally came from Stirling.
