Hello, I'm new!

Postby heledot » Mon Jul 14, 2008 1:23 pm

Hi, I'm a new member - I've had my Gold MX5 (Mark II) since March 2006, and absolutely love it! I know of 2 other gold MX5s which I see quite often in and around Alloa, one I used to pass (and wave to) on the Clacks bypass about 7.15 every morning, but am now working in Newcastle, and low and behold, there's one that I see from time to time down here too.

Passed and waved at another gold one on A68, in Easdale (I think), on Sunday evening, so if you're a member, hi! :D

Vinyl on my roof is beginning to shrink now so have just had a quote form Mazparts for a new one - has anyone used them before?

Why bother with them when you have an expert almost on your doorstep. Check out http://www.mx5scotland.com/

They're actually nearly £130 dearer than Mazparts, and I have a pal who lives just up the road from them, which is handy!

I'm not modest anymore - I consider the MX5 my selfish car (can no longer pick daughter and friends up from Dunfermline at 3 in the morning coz they won't fit in my car! - and seem to have lost my modesty when I had my (very early) mid-life crisis!

Love driving topless down the A68 - at least that how my pals down here in Newcastle refer to it! :D

Hello there, welcome to the mad house.

I live just along the road in Tullibody, look out for a silver one knocking about.

I'm in Sauchie, but only at weekends! (Mine's the Y reg one). Rest of the time I'm down in Newcastle! Pals can't understand why I take the A68 up and down, but I'm sure other MX5 drivers will!

I think you are comparing a fitted price from me and a NOT fitted price from them!!
