Hi all, I am Davy, I have just bought a Mazda MX5 Icon 2005 reg.. Great fun car to drive, had the roof down a couple of days.. I have just bought a set of hoops, but I think I have bought the wrong kind. Have fitted them, but I think the windbreaker is a standard fitment on this model, and therefore the hoops I have got aren't suitable, can someone correct me if I am wrong, or maybe have fitted them wrongly...

Cheers, hope to join a club soon

East Ayrshire area....

Hi Davy and welcome :D . You will have to remove the standard windblocker to fit most of the Style Bars (hoops), as they use the same fixings, however you can get a mesh windblocker that fits to the shape of the Style Bars.

Its OK I modified the hoops, I re drilled the holes, and I have managed to fit them in successfully.

Thanks for the welcome...
