Hi all - and welcome MissMX5..

I was thinking about the boot rack and bike carrier listed in mx5parts.co.uk but the review there doesn't seem much chop.

Interesting about the Saris bones... might have to give them a try.

I must admit that I have a honda wagon for a lugger when the bikes are on board but I am about to use the 5 for transport one day a week while the better half uses the wagon for work and am looking at options for taking the bike and the bairn out on adventures...

As for bike training near Embro - just bike up and doen Harelaw Hill a couple of times on an evening.. I used to work at Haymarket and bike in from Balerno; taking a detour over the Pentlands on long summer nights..
