I just bought my first MX5 last weekend:D Its a BRG P reg MK1...cant wait to get my hands on it!! have to wait for the bloody loan to go through...

I'm upsizing from a mini and am pretty reluctant to say goodbye to my little car so I needed something special to fill the void:-)

Am really looking forward to going out on some runs when I'm brave enough so will hopefully get to meet up with some ppl fairly soon!

Erica

ps - based in dundee and will prob be seen out at weekends in front (or behind..) my boyfriends silver lotus

Hi there, welcome to the mad but happy world of mx5 ownership.
Where do you live then?
If you are near the Aberdeen area why not come to our pub meet later in the month?

That'll be all that drink she's been winning recently

Welcome to the forum Erica, there are loads of events going on, your area boss type person will be along soon to say hi as well :) Mostly a friendly bunch with the odd bit of banter and such like.

Join the club if like as well, you get a little sticker for the car, some tax disc thingies and some other bumph that I can't remember, oh and a magazine that Lorraine (The Pram) always seems to get her photo's into :D

Hello Erica, enjoy the great experience the 5 will give you (though I do remember having similar fun in my first mini), and laugh at the banter on the forum. :D

Hi Erica
Welcome to the forum - you're darned right to be excited. The MX-5 has a tendency to grab you by the short and curlies and never let you go! I nearly bought a BMW Z3, tried out the 5 and have never looked back.

I'm the MX-5 Owners' Club Area Co-ordinator covering Dundee, so if you want to know anything about the Club, e-mail me at the address below. Having said that, you don't have to be a Club member to enjoy the forum, so there's no pressure ...

In the meantime enjoy the huge amount of information and wackiness which is the MX-5 Scotland forum and feel free to try out a couple of events.

And if you decide to join, I'll be waiting with a form ...
Cheers
Colin
