Decals below repeater

Postby noskid » Wed Apr 04, 2007 8:40 pm

Hi Guys

I have just bought an 02 MX5 1.8i with metalic decals below the repeaters.

The symbol may be flames (a central point with 3 bits either side) so I thought phoenix but the Mazda website showing special editions has the phoenix page being worked on.

Any thoughts?

Can't help with your question I'm affraid, I'd have to use the same source as you for my info, so just saying hello and welcome to the forum. It's a good place for info on all sorts of things and if your into going on drives with other mx5 owners.

Have fun :D

Hi poing

Thanks for the greeting.

Try this for a bit unusual. I have never driven an MX5 before but I bought my black beauty on ebay. I had to travel to Colchester (in my old honda civic) to pick it up.

The trip back was mostly motorway apart from the 40 miles through Biggar, Carnwath etc to Kirknewton. Top down wind in the (limited) hair.

Again thanks

That rings a bell. I have seen that logo though much enlarged, as a transfer slapped on the boots of cars in Japan, and very big ones on the front wings. Some sort of club/cult thing. Darned if I can recall where I saw them on the web though. YouTube perhaps.

Hi Noskid,

Welcome to the forum, I can confirm this your badge is not a Phoenix
My Phoenix

Your badge I think is an aftermarket badge for a japanesse tunning company but not 100% sure.

But your car looks great

By the way if you want you photos to appear in the post see below.

To post up photos of your car you need to have the photos on the internet some thing like photobucket or any one of those type of sites is the usual way you then just stick the web address of the photo between image tags

and the photo should appear....

Thanks for your comments.

I am sure I have seen another MX5 with the same badge in the same place for sale near Edinburgh. (I think it was a blue 02 reg). I could be wrong.
