New 1.6 MX5 owner

Postby docgy03 » Sun Feb 25, 2007 9:53 am

Hi, I've recently retired and bought a 1995 1.6i MX5 to replace a MG Midget that I sold last year. The Mazda makes for much more comfortable motoring. Looking forward to meeting members in the NE once the weather improves and I get the hood replaced.
Cheers, Doc

Fit like?

Glad to welcome you aboard. First 'official' chance to meet some locals is on the 21st March, Redgarth pub in Oldmeldrum from 7.30pm onwards. Its just a wee social for a blether about what we are doing and if its not too cold then a look at each others cars

Hope to see you there.

Hi Doc,
Welcome to the nutters club
Don't do anything regarding your hood until you have contacted RichardN.
If you can try and come to Pub Meet that would be great. It will the first time for a few.

Lorraine, Hope the venue is big enough, looks like we might have a few coming along.
How many members/associates now in the NE?

Welcome to the forum. We are all nice and friendly around here.

What colour is your car ? Red is a good choice, but I am slightly biased

Doc? Midget? Hmmm... Where's Snow White? ;) Oh right, that was Dwarves wasn't it. ;)

Welcome. I'm not too far away from Kemnay myself. I'm hoping to get along to the Redgarth on the 21st so maybe see you then.

I also second the recommendation of seeing Richardn about your replacement roof.

Paul, my mailing list has 33 names on it but there is still one or two new bods to add to it.

Membership wise I think there are about 20 odd, maybe 25 or there about.

There is certainly more now than a few months ago when I started the AC job. Long may it continue.
