S-VT in Kilbarchan

Postby Bob the Train » Sat Dec 31, 2016 6:06 pm

Hello All,

Got the car in July and enjoyed pootling about. Just joined the MX5OC last week and am now a fully-fledged member of this Forum. The car is a 2005 Mk 2.5 S-VT in Radiant Ebony. They have strange names for colours, don't they? Cleaned out the two drains at the rear of the hood with a trombone brush as I was warned about them by someone who knows. Not used much during winter but not quite yet a garage queen.

Also got a Morgan +8 which I will probably sell come the spring to provide needed savings and upgrades for the MX5. I wanted to see if I could have as much fun with the MX5 as the Morgan and I can, albeit a very different drive. Getting on in years and appreciate the more comfortable drive. The Talk Morgan forum are fond of MX5s as well, saying they are the best less expensive sports car available.

Anyhow, have a guid new year an' a' and lang may yer lum reek.

Hi Bob,
Welcome to the club and forum.
Hook your car onto a long distance run as part of our hi speed train sometime this year for an enjoyable day out in your new carriage.
