New owner in North East Fife

Postby young at heart » Fri Aug 14, 2015 11:56 am

Hi everyone.

Am having a midlife crisis and have bought a "07" MX5, hence the reason you are getting all this bad weather.
A great car; I should have done it years ago.

I am now a member of the MX5 owners club and am hopeful of meeting up with members of the Tayside group, but unfortunately will be away for your event at the end of the month; look forward to learning of future gatherings.

Hi Alisdair,
Crisis, what crisis - you are never too old to own an MX-5.
Welcome to the owners club and hopefully we might see you on a Central Area run sometime.
Enjoy the rest of the summer and you can still drive with the roof down in the rain as long as you keep your speed up!!!

Hi Alasdair & welcome to the MX5 Owners Club.

My wife Mel and I are AC's for Tayside.

We often have pop up runs in the evening, normally for fish and chips. As you will know, the weather can be quite unpredictable so these runs can be at short notice :-)

We post runs up in the events page for Tayside on this site, and also on facebook at MX5 Owners Club: Tayside.

The Tayside lot are a friendly bunch and you would be made very welcome.

We are open to suggestions for runs and events so if there is something or somewhere you particularly fancy doing then let us know.

We are planning a wee weekend away in the near future to drive the North Coast 500 if you fancy it.

Look forward to seeing you soon.

Hi Alasdair we're n StA with a Green Mk2.5. We're newbies to this MX5 thing too - only from last month so we've got a lot to learn and some TLC to lavish on the car but we're getting there. Look us up sometime if you're around. Stewart

Welcome to the Forum & to the wonderful world of MX5 ownership. I often take run up the Fife Coast so perhaps will see you out & about with your top down.

As Drew has mentioned he is an AC for Central Scotland so you can perhaps join us or Tayside for planned days out.

Enjoy your car.
