Newbie from wishaw

Postby Dannylivingstone » Wed Apr 16, 2014 1:35 pm

After years of elise ownership I bought myself a mk1 Dakar. What a wee car, it lacks the punch of the elise but whereas the elise would bite on the limit the mx5 is so well balanced and recoverable even when you think you've over cooked the rear end, for smiles per pound it's hard to beat. Is there any meets that I could come to to see what other people are running? And does anybody know how hard it is to remove the luggage rack that is on the back and if it'll damage the boot in any way?
Cheers, Danny.

Hi mate, i'm a newbiw mk1 owner too.

With regards to your bootrack, if its like mine (see my new user post for a pic) its bolted through and if removed leave loads of holes.
