Hello from Ayrshire!

Postby stew » Fri Mar 23, 2012 6:54 pm

Hey guys,

Picked up my first MX5 on Wednesday, a 2009 mk3.5 1.8 SE. Put nearly 100 miles on it since then, almost all of them with the roof down (got too cold last night when I was driving home at 10pm - forgot my hat!)

I hope to join up with some runs over the next few months and hopefully a track day/evening at Knockhill later in the year.

Thanks guys.

I'm really pleased with the car, handles fantastically well, and more than enough to get up and go. It's a fair bit quicker than my old 147 and that was the big 2L 155bhp engine (which drank fuel and oil in equally high quantities).

Hi & welcome. Also from Ayrshire. A bit late I know but do you not fancy doing the Chip run tomorrow at Bo'ness? Failing that, get your name down for the Cruachan Run thats over the west side. Hope to see you you around. Enjoy 8)

Hey salmo-n, didn't know if it would be okay tagging along at such late notice but if that's okay then I'll add my name to the list. Should be fun... must remember to fill the car up with fuel - gone through half a tank in 3 days... oops!
