Tyres and wheel alignment in Arbroath

Just Tyres, Elliot Industrial Estate, Arbroath tel Phil 07860 421691
Pay him a visit and take cash with you. The system is you pay him cash up front for the tyres (trade price) which he orders up for next day delivery & then charges £10 a tyre to fit. He will also fit tyres you supply if you prefer. He is very competitive. The only drawback is that you need to go twice - once with the money and once to get fitted. Still much cheaper though.

Edit: Checkpoint Vehicle Specialists recommendation withdrawn. They scratched the 5 in three places. Small scratches, but someone there is careless and I won't be going back. Unfortunately I didn't notice when I went to pick the car up.

It's been while since I got mine done Colin. Last time was on 4x4 which ended up needing the camber adjusted rather than the toe. I think it was £20 cash for the tracking check intially. Since the tracking was ok & the camber required adjusting that meant a bigger job with fancier equipment - the wheel being removed and some sort of machined chamfer type things being put in to sort the angle. That took 2 hours and cost £80 if I remember correctly.

First post on the forum, moved from MX-5 Community because their new forum system is c**p ( if it ain't broke, don't fix it - they tried to fix it and it's rubbish ).
Rant over - Phil is the man for tyres, tells it like it is. The reason for having to go twice is he had 'problems' with the VAT man. Now deals in cash only to keep track of finance. Last time I got four Toyos for the MX-5 and mentioned I needed tyres for the Picasso. He sold me two very lightly worn second hand tyres for £10 each - that included fitting and valves!!
