Edinburgh Garage withdrawn

Postby iainf » Fri Jul 10, 2009 11:38 am

I have withdrawn any recommendation for the garage previously mentioned in this post, based on the member report/comments posted here.

What is suggested is not just bad practices, but sounds illegal.

And I would not wish for other members to be treated in this fashion

Citi coachworks/car care

Postby iainmcgon » Fri Sep 04, 2009 10:37 pm

Tried this carage on the strength of mentions here. Not a good experience. kept the car 6 days when 3 promised. Would only accept cash and would not give proper printed invoice. Service requested yet subsequently found oil level and antifreeze level low - not convinced oil was even changed. Damage found to sills from hydraulic jack. I would advise keeping well clear.

Iain
Sounds like things not as they were at all. And I think you have grounds for complaint to Unipart, by the sounds of it

I will pull the recommendation off the site as although I know garages can sometimes get it right and wrong, what you suggest here is alarming.
