Bonnie's back !!

Bonnie's back !!

Postby ceathorne » Sun Aug 20, 2006 1:22 pm

Glad to announce that after being off the road for over 10 weeks (since Knockhill tracknight) my bonnie black beastie is back on the road :D

Her new engine seems sweet as a peach, and if anything she seems to have gained a few horses (replacement engine seems to be a very low miler).

I'll be taking it easy and keeping a very close eye on oil and water levels for a few hundred miles just to be sure that there's no airlocks, leaks, or anything else, but everything seems hunky dory just now.

Can't tell you how much I've missed her - especially since the last 10 weeks would've been top down every day!!

So, if you see some nutter in a black S Special with the top down in pouring rain with a mad smile stuck on his face, gimme a wave :D

Ooops - I meant to post this in General - not Motorsport

The 5 is going in tommorow then for the hub unit work.
Wanted to try it myself and the kind offer of the garage would have been great, thanks. But don't want to use the car now the noise is SSoo bad. Need him back asap!!!
