We now have 12 fully paid members in the MX5 Register and almost all are signed up for this event.
Apart from our MX5s there are many different cars, from hatchbacks to single-seaters who can be amazingly fast on such a tight circuit.
Practice runs start at 10am,timed runs after lunch.Come and have a craic.

We have now had the events at Doune and Kames...with a total of 9 cars in attendance and some close competition. The next event is Doune on June 21/22
which should have a good attendance. We now have 14 fully paid up members so our numbers are growing. We have our own separate Class A9 at Kames and Forrestburn (June 28/29) although Lothian, the organisers of Doune, are unable to give us a separate class due to the class structure they adhere to for the British Championship. We should have a good attendance at Doune and Forrestburn so come and join us!

Re: Scottish Lowland Speed Championship-an invitation to Doune!

Postby Dumfriesman » Mon Aug 18, 2014 1:53 pm

Well....we have now had all but the final two events for this 2014 season.
Yesterday was a very windy hill climb at Forrestburn...but at least it stayed dry on the track.
There were 8 of us there, and many posted personal bests.
The top four are now separated by 3.92 points...with only Doune hill climb on September 21st and Kames sprint in October to go!

The organisers of the Doune hill climb have extended an invitation to all members of MX5 Owners Club to attend at 50% discount off the normal £5 fee.
If we have enough persons interested, there will be a designated parking area for members' cars.

I have been asked to coordinate by Doune, and if you are interested please let me know.

The new season starts!
Kames on April 11th & 12th...and Doune on April 18th & 19th.
The Scottish MX5 Hillclimb & Sprint Register (Eunos Ecosse) now has 23 signed up members...so should be good attendance at both. Mark your calendars.
