Actually I would love to drive but I am scared stupid  . So at least if I come along and see what it all involves, I can pluck up the courage for next time.

What I would really love is the track to myself and The Stig beside me teaching me how to power slide!!! Hey, a girl can dream, can't she?

So are spectators allowed?

Fee

Fee, I can guarentee that if you come along to watch you'll wish you had decided to have a go. I did that, time before last and regretted I didn't have a go then. I had to wait nearly a year for next opportunity, it was terrible!!
There is nothing to worry about, you just go at your own pace, all the guys on the track are very sympathetic and understanding and I bet within a lap or two you will be right in the groove. Anyway I'm sure some of the more experienced will be willing to sit in with you and give you a few pointers if you need it, if you do, no doubt you will soon be off on your own.
It will be an experience you won't regret. :P
Don't wait, go for it now.

Paul's right, just go for it!!! You won't regret it. I'm sure an instructor will sit beside you for a few laps.

Have received the invoice for the Tracknight, could everyone send their cheque to the value of ?55.00 made payable to 'Knockhill Racing Circuit' to me, by April 24th, (or sooner) I will send out the address to you, or give the cheque to Gavin or myself at one of the Central Scotland events before this date.

Thanks.

Copy of mail sent out last week, thanks to those that did take the time to reply and or did send their cheques...

Just to remind you that cheques for the Track Night can be sent at any time from now on in, I must receive them by Monday 24th April, If you have decided you can't make it this year could you please let me know, unfortunately I can't hold places this year as there has been a greater interest. At present 14 have paid, leaving 16 places on a first come first served basis.

Send cheques payable to 'Knockhill Racing Circuit':-
PM me for address

Or hand them to Gavin or myself at the next Run or Pub Meet.

Been round knockhill in one of their single seater race school cars a few years back.

It was pouring down but we still went out anyway.

Thoroughly enjoyed it despite the rain.

For any of you who conveyed their concerns about doing some track time - Dont worry, its great fun and the guys there are really good at making you feel at ease.

I'm sure it wont come to mixing with non 5's Douglas :?

If mine wasn't an automatic I'd be round there myself.

C'mon folks get that last place filled :D
