Tech Day - Sunday June 6th

Postby iainf » Fri May 07, 2010 8:21 pm

The summer Tech day will go ahead on Sunday June 6th.
There are limited spaces on the day to do work, but there is plenty of space for people to come along for the BBQ (though might need a bigger one!) help advice, car washing and general chat.

If you could let me know if you'd like to come, either here or on the event page (link below) it will help with planning.

Going to put in a short scenic run on the way here, meeting point will be

Tesco Eskbank, Bonnyrigg Road, Eskbank EH22 3PP

Just off the Edinburgh City Bypass at 10am for a prompt 10.30 departure.

There will be a second re-group meet point at the Asda carpark, Dunbar on the A1 (Spott Roundabout) at 11.30/45 to regroup and if you want to (or didn't at Tesco) pick up a bit of food, it is a short run to the location from there.

Look forward to seeing you.

Hi Iain

Not bein g a member of the OC, is this event open to all? Is there a cost?

Could you give me some idea of agenda for the day, or is it a general "open house" for folks to do what they want on their cars?

Hi David and Dave

The club is happy for non members to come along to a few events, hopefully you will enjoy the day and eventually join the club.

There is no cost involved, but please bring your own food along for the BBQ.

So the answer to your question is yes come along and join us.
