Royston Asda, hmmm... :?

I'll try to find it! Looking at map it seems easy to get to from city centre, so I could go straight from work (dammit - was looking for an excuse for a day off! )

Royston Asda is dead easy to get to.

From Glasgow city centre, take the M8. Turn off at junction 13(ish) for the M80 signposted Stirling. Asda is about 2 miles along this road and you will be able to see it off to the left just before the junction (Jct 2) that you need to take to get to it.

If coming from the East along the M8, turn off at Jct 13, then follow signs for Stirling/M80. Join the motorway, then take the next exit.

Just thinking......

I was at Knockhill a couple of weeks ago and it took me a good hour and a half to get from the East End....even leaving at 4pm cos of all the annoying roadworks at Cumbernauld.

Would it be an idea to leave Asda closer to 4pm ? That way we'd have plenty of time to get there, get fueled up etc. ??

(BTW if anyone thinks thats a wierd statement, it should be noted that I have a TINY fuel tank and I'm always embarrasingly early for everything! :D )

I know my way to Amarillo now and I doubt knockhill will prove to be any more difficult

Tesco Riverside or Kingsway?...any will do but I think the Kingsway one will be easier for you guys from up t'North.

What time will you be getting into Dundee? My car is in for a service on Friday so it'd better be ready or I'll be taking Dee's whitey

Chris,
Tesco's on the north ring road is the only one I know.
Not sure about time yet, we intend taking a leisurely run down, got day off work. Will get back to you, or you give me a time I'm flexible.
What time are we allowed into Knockhill?
What time is everyone expecting to get there?

I reckon if you get there between 5.00-5.30 should be enough time to sign on, get your helmet arranged etc..

Spoke to Knockhill about perhaps letting the track beginners on first, for five minutes, probably follow a Knockhill pace car round, just to get the feel of it, before the rest of the pack are let loose.

One day to go !

At the moment the BBC website says Image for Dunfermline :?

Lets hope the famous Knockhill micro-climate doesn't let us down - maybe if its raining everywhere else it will be sunny at Knockhill !?!?! The opposite seesm to be true every time i go up with my roof off ! :P

Fingers crossed guys and gals

Hello all!
Stumbled across this site almost by accident, having long been an admirer of the MX5. Might be a while before I actually manage to buy one, given that my daughter is only 16 days old, but will get there in the end! Took one for a test drive a couple of years ago and was seriously impressed. 8)
Anyway, have a mate who would be very keen to come along to the track night tomorrow, having recently purchased a Series 1 Lotus Elise. Are there any spaces still available? Might try to get along myself, to spectate, dirty nappies allowing!!
Cheers!
Derek.

Paul,

Should be about 45 mins from Dundee, so 4.30pm Tesco's Kingsway sound OK to you? There is a Pizza Hut in the retail complex, so park up near there.

Hi - don't think there are any places left (although if you message Douglas he'll be able to tell you exactly) but there is room for spectators..........if its anything like the other Knockhill nights you should be able to get a passenger ride if you ask some of the guys / girls nicely!

If the weather holds it should be a great night !
